The encounter between aesthetic and social functionality
A clean design characterized by simple and essential lines that leaves room to a high lighting performance: the Żerańskiej bridge in Warsaw, Poland, is an innovation engineering project that combines rigorous aesthetic with social functionality. The cycle and pedestrian path which extends for over 300 meters, was built in order to retrain a deteriorated area. The plan previews the installation of RGB linear products with elliptic optics on the external facade, that – thanks to a remote control engineered by Platek - allow to program spectacular lighting effects on the occasion of important civic celebrations. Inside the structure the same linear elliptic products with a white light were used, with the function of service light. These lighting devices offer also the automatic activation at the same time as the transit of the passers-by, allowing an energy-saving experience. Thanks to the EL-IT distributor in Warsaw, Platek could create an innovative engineering work with remote control, that allows high level lighting performance.
