Delicate and bold. Unconventional and versatile.
Dynamic white light to enhance neoclassical architecture
The headquarters of the Bank of France in Dijon was illuminated with Platek products in 2017, following the guidelines of the lighting designer Vittorio Sparta and his company Eclar.
The palace, which stands in a large park, is a typical example of French neoclassical architecture. A precious geometric decoration adorns the surface of the roof, the walls are crossed by high windows with shutters painted in white and the pediment is characterized by the typical central architectural element of the tympanum.
The lighting designer has carefully selected the lighting products: the Nano floodlights, which give the possibility to illuminate through narrow or diffused beams and a great versatility of application; the Spring and Mini Spring projectors, with a rigorously technical design with captivating notes; and finally Mini Corniche used in surface mounted and recessed version, a highly flexible and customizable product.
A dynamic white light was chosen as the lighting effect for this project that could elegantly highlight the representative and sophisticated architecture in its most significant elements.
